Example Programs for the Agilent N6700
Modular Power System
The self-executing file contains example programs for the Agilent N6700 Modular Power System. To install all of the example programs on your hard disk, click 'Install' and follow the instructions in the dialog box. The installation directory defaults to C:\Program Files\Agilent\N6700\N67xx Examples but you can specify the directory in which to install the example programs. For the VISA COM examples, you must have the Agilent IO Libraries revision M or later with VISA COM installed.
There are four example programs included:- EZ sample: This is a simple program that sets the voltage, current, and protection functions of the power system. It also measures the output voltage.
- Sequence: This program executes a sequenced power-on. The first output turns on first. After a specified amount of time, the second output turns on. Two or more outputs are required to run this program.
- List: This program sets up and executes a simple list. Voltage, current, and dwell time are all specified. This program will only work with N676xA Power Modules and with N675xA Power Modules that have Option 054 High Speed Test Extensions.
- Digitizer: This program sets up the measurement system to read back an array of measurements. This program will only work with N676xA Power Modules and with N675xA Power Modules that have Option 054 High Speed Test Extensions.
- C++ with VISA
- Microsoft® Visual C++ 6.0 with VISA
- Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 with VISA, VISA-COM, and NI 488.2
- Microsoft Excel with VISA, VISA-COM, and NI 488.2 (only the List programs are provided)
- Agilent VEE Pro with direct I/O
