Indicate text edits

Text-edit comments indicate which text should be inserted, deleted, or replaced. The Commenting toolbar includes the Indicate Text Edits tool and a pop-up menu with other text-editing options.

On the Commenting toolbar, choose Text Edits > Indicate Text Edits, and then do any of the following:

Click between words where you want to add text, and begin typing. An insertion caret appears, and the text is added to a pop-up window.

Select text, and press Backspace or Delete. The text is marked in cross-out to indicate that it should be deleted.

Select text, and begin typing. Selected text is marked in cross-out, and the inserted text appears in a pop-up window.

Select text, and then choose Highlight Selected Text or Underline Selected Text from the Text Edits menu.

In Acrobat 7.0 Professional and Standard for Windows, you can export text edits to a Microsoft Word document.
