Stamp a document

Use the Stamp tool to apply a stamp to a document in much the same way you would use a rubber stamp on a paper document.

1

Choose View > Toolbars and make sure that Commenting is selected.

On the Commenting toolbar, click the arrow next to the Stamp tool , and choose a stamp.

If the Identity Setup dialog box appears, enter your name and email address.

2

Click the document page where you want to place the stamp.

3

To move a stamp, select the Hand tool , and then drag the stamp to a new location. Drag a corner handle to resize it.

In Acrobat, you can create custom stamps from PDF, AI, PSD, JPEG, GIF, and bitmap formats. In Adobe Reader, you can create custom stamps from other PDF files.
