Receive comments from other reviewers

When you participate in an email-based review, you may receive email with an attachment that contains comments from other reviewers. When you open this attachment, a dialog box appears with an option to merge the comments onto your tracked PDF document or open the reviewer’s copy. If you click Yes, your copy of the PDF document opens and the reviewer’s comments are placed onto it. If you click No, Open This Copy Only, the reviewer’s copy opens.

For best results, merge the reviewer’s comments onto your tracked PDF document. This ensures that all comments are sent to the review initiator. If you want to remove the comments from your copy, you can easily delete them by using options in the Comments List. When you send your comments to the review initiator, any redundant comments are deleted.

Note: Comments that are created in Acrobat 6.0 are sent by email as FDF attachments that open only if the related PDF file is available on the local hard drive.
