TURN WORD WRAP ON

This example was written in LabWindows/CVI 5.5.1 in Win98SE with version 2.6 of NI-VISA.  (with version 2.01 of NI-VISA, I did not get an error when using a known invalid VISA resource name)

This example assumes a VISA resouce name of GPIB0::24::INSTR

Use the VISA Interactive Control to interrogate your available resource strings (connect the instrument to your GPIB card first). 

The SourceMeter was a model 2400 with C25 firmware level.  However, this example is appropriate for any of the SourceMeter family of products.  The example sets up the instrument to source 1 volt and measure the current back (current not to exceed 100mA).
