Downloader Versions Context

Two downloader versions are available for the ADuC702x family of parts.

The standard parts have a 3 as the middle character for the version branding indicating use of the UART protocol. This protocol is described in application note AN724. These parts need the ARMWSD downloader.

The parts with 5 as the middle character for the version branding and I appended to the part number use the I2C protocol. This protocol is described in application note AN806. These parts need the I2CWSD downloader.
