The aim of these help pages is to introduce the ADuC PLA Tool. The tool is
designed as an easy to use, graphical user interface, which allows the user to
configure the Programmable Logic Array found on the Analog Devices ADuC7000 Series of
ARM based MicroConverters.
The margin on the left hand side contains a list of the topics
contained in these pages. They are listed in an order which reflects how they
may arise when using the PLA Tool. Below the "contents" is a second menu which lists some
of the PLA Tool's special features. These are discussed at several points during the main sections however
these links are available for quick reference. At any point you can
click on the "home" icon in the top right hand corner and it will bring you back to
this starting point.
The next section gives an overview of the programmable logic array hardware and
how it is configured. The remaining sections cover the various features of the
PLA Tool and a typical use case is presented.
