This documentation is designed to provide guidance to customers 
on how to upgrade DL3000 Series Programmable DC Electronic Load 
to the version in the "DL3000 (Software)Update.rar.rar" file. 
The applicable models include DL2021,DL3021A,DL3031,DL3031A.
 
New versions of firmware are available at the following website:

[Notices]

- This upgrade file supports the DL1000 with 00.01.00 and later versions. 
  For other versions, please contact RIGOL technical support personnel. 
      
  You can press Utility - > System - > Sys Info to view the current 
  version number of the instrument.
 
- Please make sure that your USB disk can be read correctly. 
  DL1000 is required to use an 16GB (or lower) USB disk with FAT32 format. 

- During upgrade process, please do not cut off power and pull out the USB disk,
  otherwise the instrument will fail to work normally.

- During the process, the instrument cannot be in the remote mode 
  (Do not connect USB cable or the network cable).
 
- For some versions, previously saved state files cannot be used after upgrade. 
  Please make sure to keep a record of the necessary information of settings 
  before upgrade. 

- The downgrading operations are not supported.
 
[Upgrading Procedures]

1. Copy the upgrade file DL3000Update.GEL to the root directory of the USB disk.
 
2. Insert the USB disk into the USB interface.
 
3. Power on the instrument. When logo "RIGOL" appears, with three dots under it,
   press the Help key immediately. Then, the upgrade process bar appears, 
   indicates that the instrument starts to upgrade. 

4. When the upgrading is completed, the instrument enters the waveform setting 
   interface.
